How we design, build, and moderate Wiggler to keep young readers safe.
Wiggler is designed from the ground up for young children, and we hold ourselves to a higher bar than a typical consumer app. This page explains the safeguards we put in place and how families and educators can reach us with any concern.
Wiggler listens to a child read aloud so it can give real-time phonics feedback. That listening is processed entirely on infrastructure we build and control, and audio is never sent to an outside company. Recordings are used only to score reading accuracy, are automatically deleted within 60 days, and are never used to build an advertising profile of the child. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.
Wiggler does not show advertising to children, does not sell or share children's data with third parties for marketing, and has no chat, comments, or public profiles for children to interact through.
Every account is created and managed by a parent or guardian. Parents can review their child's activity, update or delete account information, and close the account at any time by contacting us.
If you believe a child's safety or data has been put at risk while using Wiggler, please contact us immediately. We treat these reports as urgent and will respond as quickly as we can.
