Delete your account

You can delete your Wiggler Jr account and everything in it at any time — from inside the app, or by emailing us. You do not need the app installed to ask.

Delete it yourself, in the app

If you still have Wiggler Jr installed, you can delete the account yourself. It takes about a minute.

Open Wiggler Jr.
Go to the Profile tab.
Answer the grown-up question that appears. This is the parental gate that keeps children out of account settings.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Tap "Delete my account".
Type DELETE to confirm.

The account and everything in it are deleted immediately. You do not need to contact us afterwards, and there is nothing further to confirm.

Ask us to delete it

If you no longer have the app installed, or you would rather we did it, email us and we will delete the account for you.

Email hi@wigglerjr.com with the subject "Delete my Wiggler Jr account".

Please include the phone number you signed up with. If you signed in with Google or Apple, include the email address on that account instead. We need this to find the right account and to be sure the request is coming from the person who holds it.

We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and email you when it is done. There is no charge, and you do not need to give a reason.

What gets deleted

Whether you delete the account in the app or ask us to, all of this goes:

The parent account, including the phone number it was registered with
Every child profile on the account, including each child's name and age
All reading progress, scores and activity history
All voice recordings, including any recordings you chose to keep
Word practice lists, rewards and game results

This cannot be undone. Once the account is deleted, none of it can be restored, by you or by us. A child who returns to Wiggler Jr later will start again as a new learner.

What we may keep

The only records that remain are payment and invoice records. All payments are processed by Google Play and the Apple App Store, who hold these records, and they are retained for as long as Indian tax law requires.

These records contain no child name, no age, no reading data and no voice recordings.

If you have a subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Subscriptions are managed by the app store you bought them from, not by us, so we cannot cancel one on your behalf. Cancel it first, then delete the account.

Android

Open the Play Store app.
Tap your profile icon.
Tap Payments and subscriptions.
Tap Subscriptions, then Wiggler Jr, then Cancel subscription.

iPhone and iPad

Open Settings.
Tap your name at the top.
Tap Subscriptions, then Wiggler Jr, then Cancel Subscription.
